
Packaging a global EVP
Insight
Huhtamaki are a global packaging company employing around 80,000. They wanted to position themselves as an employer of choice, but found they didn’t have a consistent way of communicating to candidates across all regions. They needed an employer brand that could be flexible enough to work globally, with all the necessary tools to make it accessible to the stakeholder teams.
Idea
We set about understanding the experience of working at Huhtamaki through a series of focus groups and interviews that connected with employees from all around the world. We turned it into an EVP, validated our approach with a targeted group of potential external candidates, developed it creatively and built a suite of guides, templates and assets to empower the global teams.
Impact
Employee feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with employees commenting on how authentic it felt. Hits on the SharePoint toolkit show us it’s being used daily across the world, and the feedback from the regional teams has also been great. Time will tell how it’s received by candidates, but everything so far is seen as a big success.
