The CAA approached us to create a unique and dynamic look and feel for their STEM Opportunities In Aviation campaign. The brand needed to resonate with its key audience of school pupils aged 5yrs-14yrs. The campaign logo incorporates the four pillars of Science, Technology Engineering and Matts in a highly visual way with bold typography and strong use of colour. In addition, a very distinctive illustrative style was also developed to help articulate the messaging needed in a tone that fitted the key audience.


So far the new look has been applied to teacher materials and activity sheets to aid in pupil engagement. An animation aimed at key stage 1&2 pupils (5yrs-11yrs) explaining all about the CAA and the various roles undertaken as an organisation – all from the perspective of ‘Jason and Michelle’ whose parents work there. The voice-over was provided by two age-appropriate child actors to really tell the story in an authentic way. The campaign will continue to roll out nationally through 2021 with additional backing being provided by the Department For Education.
